I've checked to ensure all the doors, hood and trunk are closed and checked the preferences in the system. 3 press the door lock button on the dash to lock the car 4 press and hold the door lock button on the dash, the alarm will beep 5 keep holding the door lock button on the dash, press and hold the lock on the remote, the alarm will beep repeat (5) for the other remotes, 6 leave the door lock button on the dash, the alarm will beep, switch ignition off

I believe you hold both the close and open buttons on the keyfob until you hear the car horn go off, after that you'll always hear the horn when you use the keyfob to close the car. Could be just a faulty wire connecting to the horn, or a bad horn lol. Never had an issue until recently, i can’t seem to figure out why & really don’t have the money to take it to the dealership for an answer.

Kp technologies sells a module to convert to beep. Sit in your car, lock yourself in with the remote(key out of ignition) manually unlock door and open it. You may have left the car on “ready” and did hit the start/stop button to turn car off.

The door locks didn’t engaged because car is still ready, the 3 beeps confirms that. The fob can be set to open all doors together on one press of the fob or driver's door and boot. In that case, by design, the car will not lock with the fob but it will with the key.
